Comments: Dr Weil did the LRTI surgery on my left thumb. I was obviously concerned after reading all the horror stories about this procedure. Dr Weil offered me the removable cast so I went that route and really glad I did. Only went to physical therapy twice. My thumb is no longer painful and functions normally.
